Last evening at Nanjing Road was amazing. We walked up and down the pedestrian street checking out the knick-knacks, the crowd and doing some window shopping - the street was full of life, families, couples, youngsters and the elderly having a great time.
And just around dusk, the street became even more livelier. There was a crowd gathered and some western music was playing. We went closer, snaking our way through the crowd and we saw a group of elderly people dancing. They looked happy, relaxed and were having a good time..... They seemed to have a spirit, a zest for life that many youngsters seem to lack.... I found their spirit inspirational.... A true Joie de Vivre!
