On our second leg of the Malaysia trip, we flew down to Penang from Kuala Lumpur's Subang Airport, a short while back.
Penang is a just a short hop away from Kuala Lumpur, a 30 minute flight along the Malacca Straits. Thanks to the route, we got some incredible views of the sea and the clouds from Up In The Air!
Somewhere close to the horizon lies Indonesia, the island of Sumatra...
Our inflight meal - Slai O'lai cookies and water
Incredible clouds on the horizon...
There's something that magically draws me to these varied hues of blue...
Approach into Penang...
The first sight of Penang...
Am so excited to be in Penang, the incredible island that oozes history...
On short finals...
Touchdown!
Malaysian Airlines Boeing 737...
The cargo bay... DHL, FedEx and UPS aircraft parked there...
A grainy shot of an Air Asia A320...
We taxi towards our parking bay...
Finally at Penang...
Our aircraft that flew us in!
Now we've got to rush out and explore the island!
