With the day's meetings successfully concluded in Incheon, I set out for Seoul, the capital of Korea and as I would soon discover, the soul of the nation!
I took a cab to cover the 40-odd kilometers to get me from Incheon's Songdo Smart City to Seoul...
And you can imagine my delight when I saw a restaurant called Ginger Pig!
My cab...
The cabbie, an elderly Korean gentleman was quite a pleasing personality...
My in-cab entertainment - Korea Joongang Daily...
The geopolitics of the region and the great game being played out between China and Japan is big news here...
Seoul is crowded but traffic is orderly!
And that is quite a delight!
There is a Standard Chartered here as well...
Seoul is full of coffee shops like this one! The Koreans love their coffee...
"Studio Yum Yum"
And another Holly's Coffee. Trust me, I bet Cafe Coffee Day will be a success here!
Telecom shops! Oh le! They have a telecom operator called Olleh here!
A lively street!
An English teaching academy. Very few Koreans seem to understand English!
Sinchon Station...
A streetside mural...
Headed to Gyeongbokgung Palace...
Daewoo buses still run here...
Police headquarters...
A historical monument, couldn't figure what it was...
