To celebrate our last evening in the French countryside, we headed to the village of Barbizon across the Forêt de Fontainebleau...
It was a nice and bright evening...
It was quite to see ponies on the meadows...
Barbizon seems to be quite a charming little place...
Barbizon is home to quite a few artists. In fact Barbizon was the refuge of artists from Paris for over a century. The famous Théodore Rousseau and Jean-François Millet made Barbizon their home...
The warm and bright sun of the French countryside...
And this guy played some lovely music to entertain us...
Grilled fish...
Grilled lamb and chicken...
O wow! Raw oysters...
This was the first time I had raw oysters and I instantly loved them...
And I literally licked my plate clean...
And the sun sets, I am bit saddened as we get ready to say goodbye to the very charming Fontainebleau area...
You cannot but not fall in love with Fontainebleau...
And I vowed to come back soon!
