Our first destination this morning was to head out to Fushimi Inari Taisha, a shrine dedicated to the Japanese kami or god of foxes, of fertility, commerce, prosperity and worldly success. Worship of Inari dates back over 1500 years, originally in the Shinto faith, however, over the years Japanese Buddhists have adopted Inari as their own.
