On my way back from the Centro Histórico, I stopped by at the La Hostería de Alcalá for a relaxed lunch and some respite from the heat outside...
La Hostería de Alcalá is housed in a 16th century building, which was once the College of San Bartolome...
The Central Patio, where the restaurant is, is quite a charming place...
The place has a natural feel...
Potted ferns and natural light...
The hotel rooms and suites are all upstairs...
The central fountain...
My lemonade...
Bread, salsas and nachos...
I would have loved to stay here...
Refried beans and avocado tortilla!
Peppers stuffed with chicken and cooked...
Fiery salsas...
And there is no reason why I shouldn't say "I Don't Want Nirvana! I Want Great Food, Always!"...
