After the visit to the Auditorio Guelaguetza to view the Panoramas of Oaxaca, I headed to have a slice of Oaxacan history by visiting the Museo de las Culturas de Oaxaca at the Santo Domingo church...
The museum is housed inside the Santo Domingo church, the church I had passed by a few days back...
It's a bright and warm day today...
A section of the church has been converted into a museum to showcase the golden age of the Mesoamericans, who were decimated in cold blood when the Conquistadors came in...

Possibly a local deity - the Conquistadors wiped out the Mesoamerican culture and the scars are still be seen - locals do not understand the nuances of the culture their forefathers followed, they were converted to Christianity and their places of worship were torn down and converted to churches...
