It's my first morning in Melbourne and I have to rush for a day long meeting marathon.
The view from my hotel room window an hour back with a view of Spencer Street...
After getting ready, I headed downstairs to corner of Spencer Street and Flinders Street to a small bistro for a quick breakfast before I head out, walk across to South Bank for meetings...
The bistro was run by a South Indian family - a lady was quick to take my breakfast order. And the Indian diaspora here has made quite a mark for itself whether they are in various professions or in small businesses such as this bistro. And they have indeed come a long way, making their mark in the local economy...
Indeed Melbourne is quite a multicultural place with people from all ethnicities around here. With an open and welcoming culture and with its wonderful, there isn't a little doubt why Melbourne as top-notch livable city!
And here comes my breakfast - French toast with strawberries and blueberries with coffee...
And I am reminded of the French toast my Mom used to make when I was a kid...
