And I am on the road again, heading to Singapore for some meetings over the next 3 days... And I am looking forward to this trip - I will be visiting Singapore after 18 months. Besides important business meetings, I shall be finding sometime to meet some old friends in the Little Red Dot, Singapore, besides visiting Little India for some Diwali shopping - the festival is just around the corner...
Now there's an interesting story behind the term Little Red Dot - the term gained wide publicity when the former President of Indonesia B. J. Habibie used it to refer to Singapore in what appeared to be a disparaging manner, though he denied it. The term was quickly adopted by both Singaporean politicians and ordinary citizens with pride and a sense of the nation's success despite its physical limitations!
And time for some exotic Plane Spotting... this time it's Aurora Airlines from the Russian carrier from the Far East. Aurora flies between Incheon and Vladivostok...
And what pleases me the most is that this is my first flight on board the Boeing 747-8i, the next-generation version of the Boeing 747...
Boarded and ready to go - this is the first time I am on the upper deck of a Boeing 747...
It seems to be Boeing 747-8i day today...
