And the sun is up with TD04 hopefully having left the skies above Viti Levu, and it's time for us to head to the Mamanuca Islands...
The Mamanucas are an archipelago of small and tiny islands and reefs, off the western coast of Viti Levu and an hour's boat ride from the Denarau marina...
And today's destination is Beachcomber Island. Further ahead from Beachcomber Island is Monuriki island, which is where the 2000 Robert Zemeckis film, Cast Away, starring Tom Hanks as Chuck Noland was filmed...
And I did not know till today that these islands were associated with Captain William Bligh and mutiny on the Bounty in the 1700s...
Oh gosh, clouds are back o the horizon...
Heading out to the Mamnucas...
Leaving Denarau behind...
The radar of our boat...
That must surely be fun...
What a pretty sight...
I hope the weather doesn't play spoilsport again...
...for we have a day of snorkelling planned at Beachcomber Island...
The South Sea Island...
And off we go again...
The Fijian merchant ensign...
Bounty Island...
Treasure Island...
And here we are at Beachcomber Island, our destination for the day...
