From Mulomulo Primary School, we ascended up the Nausoriu Highlands to have some incredible panoramic views of the western side of Viti Levu island...
It was an arduous drive up to the Nausori Highlands - the road was steep and curved a lot. And the landslides caused by the recent rains did not help at all...
But the ethereal views from the journey more than compensated for the bumpy ride...
Thankfully, the weather is wonderful today...
...and we are finally making it to the Nausori Highlands!
Wouldn't a view like this absolutely delight you?
Some clouds are now showing up on the horizon...
...but we hope they don't spoil our party!
The Highlands seem pristine, quiet and untouched by the polluting hands of mankind, the way Nature should be in all it's divine splendour...
Need I say that the rolling hills in the distance are a sight for sore eyes...
...eyes battered by the garishness of the urban sprawl!
If I could, I would build a house here, I would die for these views...
And a horseman comes out of nowhere shaking me out of my reverie...
Indeed the daydream is so much better...
God! Let me be here, forever, till the end of time...
